  My first time dining here on Saturday night.
  
  It definitely will not be my last time dining here.
  
  The scotch fillet steak was good quality & generous size....it was succulent, juicy, tasty, delicious, tender & cooked beautifully with a lovely char as well.
  
  The scotch fillet steak was definitely up there with some of the best steaks I've ever had the pleasure of eating (I've eaten truckloads of scotch fillet & rib eye steaks throughout the years).
  
  The dauphinoise potatoes were deliciously scrumptious & I seriously could have easily eaten at least twice as much of them.
  
  The staff were very friendly, approachable, helpful & professional.
  
  I was extremely impressed by the additional efforts & personal touches of the owner (Serdar) who put some lovely red roses & a candle on our table for our celebration.
  
  Serdar also personally came to our table & wished us a happy celebration.
  
  Thank you very much for making our celebration extra special & memorable.
  
  The whole atmosphere & experience was extremely enjoyable.
  
  If you like a good quality delicious char grilled steak then I would definitely suggest giving Babil a try.

  Fantastic repurposing of the building - it's a pleasure just sitting inside. Outside seating available too.
  The range of food was really good - not your usual 'Sydney Rd' style of Turkish Restaurant. Different but authentic dishes made this a must visit when in the area. Worth a detour when near Colac.
  Great service and a good choice of wines, including some excellent local ones.
  We'll definitely be back.

  Lunch here today. Fantastic meal. Kids meal in the picture was MORE than enough for my little man and he lived every bite. Will be back
  
  EDIT (4.7.23): Back for lunch today and had the Angus steak (pictured). Delicious, I struggled to finish this....

  I came yesterday. The food was absolutely amazing. It was an explosion of flavours that made me feel great. The portions are also pretty generous as well. Has a large menu so that everyone can get something they like. Especially the turkish bread dipped in beetroot sauce was the best. Also the mains. Ill be coming back in the future for sure!

  I had the pleasure of dining at a charming Turkish restaurant in Melbourne. The atmosphere was austere yet inviting, and the staff's friendliness added a delightful touch to the experience. The authentic flavors and warm service made it a memorable dining destination that I would highly recommend

  Great restraint highly recommend, they do fantastic meals .
  Coffee and breakfast which I myself have done a few times is a perfect start to your day and family who run it are polite and friendly .

  The service was friendly and efficient. Entrees (garlic flatbread, salt and pepper squid and fat chips) were served quickly and mains (braised beef, lamb shank and Cajun barramundi) were served quickly. The ambience of the restaurant was beautiful and relaxing. Splitting the bill was no problem. When we come back down this way, Oddfellows will definitely on the itinerary.
